WINNERS OF THE CONTEST OF THEATER PROJECTS

The six winners of the First Contests of Theatre Projects, organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Instituto Nacional del Teatro, have been announced. They are: La Patria fría, by Andrés Binetti and Mariano Saba; Esa no fue la intención. 2, by Joaquín Bonet; Leonardo trabajo práctico nº 1, by Gerardo Hochman; Pudor en animales de invierno, by Santiago Loza (photo), Campos de fuerza, by Luis Garay; and Pueden dejar lo que quieran, by Fernando Rubio. The six plays will be premiered during the 2011 edition of FIBA.

These projects were selected from a total of 156 entries by the Jury composed of Alberto Ligaluppi (current Artistic Director of the Buenos Aires Theater Complex), Jorge Graciosi (director and actor) and Carlos Pacheco (theater critic). Each of these works will receive the amount of 30 thousand pesos to cover production expenses. And also, they may be scheduled to be performed at the National Circuit of Festivals “El País en el País” (The Country in the Country) organized by the INT.
